How we work

One path, two steps — and the pricing behind it.

Every engagement starts with a Diagnostic. Most end with a Rebuild. Here's exactly what happens in each, and what it costs.

Our approach

We stay until it works.

01

We diagnose before we prescribe.

Most companies have forty problems. Three of them cap revenue. We find those three with evidence — 5–7 interviews across functions, plus your real funnel, pipeline and delivery data — before anyone touches anything.

02

Every change earns its place on your P&L.

Before we change anything we ask whether it moves revenue, margin or speed. If it won't, we leave it alone, even when it would make the org chart look neater. On one engagement that discipline cut time-to-market by .

03

We solve it at the root, once.

Quick fixes feel faster and come back. We go after the system underneath, so the same fire doesn't restart next quarter and you're not paying us twice to put it out.

Step 1

The Diagnostic — what actually happens.

Days 1–3

Kickoff, and we take everything you already measure.

Days 3–8

5–7 interviews across functions, one to one. What people say in a room together is not what they say alone, and the gap is usually the finding.

Days 6–11

Funnel, pipeline and delivery data. How work actually moves, versus how the process document says it does.

Days 12–14

Readout: the three constraints named, evidenced and ranked; what each is costing you in numbers; a prioritised 90-day plan ready for your next leadership meeting; and an honest read on whether you need us to execute it or your team's got it.

Why it takes two people.

Five to seven interviews across marketing, sales, product and delivery in two weeks is not a solo job, and a single consultant will find the problem they already know how to solve. Both of us run every Diagnostic. It's also the reason we can look at demand and delivery in the same fortnight rather than sequentially.

Step 2

The Rebuild — 90 days.

Weeks 1–2

Roadmap into a concrete plan: owners, metrics, sequence.

Weeks 3–10

Build and ship with your team: positioning, playbooks, process, structure, tooling.

Weeks 11–13

Transfer ownership. Your team runs it; we step back.

Weekly working sessions plus async access to both of us throughout.

Pricing

What it costs.

If we fix it together

90-Day Rebuild

We execute the plan with your team. Weekly working sessions, async access to both operators, ownership transferred by week 13.

$12,000–$15,000/mo

Three months minimum. Scoped after the Diagnostic.

Why it's priced this way.

A fractional CMO at your size runs $5,000–$15,000 a month and covers the demand side. A fractional CRO runs $8,000–$15,000 and covers sales. You're getting two senior operators across the whole engine — marketing, sales, product and delivery — for roughly what one of them costs. That only works because we run three Rebuilds at a time and no more.

Three Rebuilds concurrently. That's the honest ceiling for two people who are actually in the work rather than reviewing it.
